Jumbo Opportunities For The Bold

So, the price of passenger aircraft has fallen to an all time low. Well, that's hardly surprising with the world plunging into a deep recession and planes flying into buildings and there being a war on.

But it's not all doom and gloom. Here is a perfect business opportunity for the entrepenurial individual. With the price of a Jumbo jet now the same as a small house, this is the ideal time to buy... Jumbo jets!

Think about it. This bad phase isn't going to last forever. People will be back wanting to fly again and all the cutbacks that the airlines have been making will have to be reversed. And if YOU'VE bought all the Jumbo jets (at a knock down price) they're going to be clambering to buy them all back at a greatly inflated price.

Now, your first question to this is going to be an intelligent one. It's going to be "What am I going to do with a fleet of Jumbo jets while I'm waiting for the ecomony to pick up again?"

Indeed. Jumbo jets are pretty damn big things and no one's going to let you park them for free. But the size of a Jumbo jet is its virtue. You can get a lot of people in a Jumbo. All you do is refurbish your Jumbos - split the passenger cabins up into a set of self-contained fully furnished studio flats. People will LOVE the novelty value of living on a Jumbo jet. The money you get from rent will cover the costs of parking your planes, refurbishing them, general utilities (water, sewerage, maintenance) and converting them back into serviceable aircraft when the time comes to sell them.

Now where's the flaw in that, eh?
