Power To The Pea Poll!

The Pea is the official Pooclub Vegetable Of The Year for 2002. In a closely fought election, the pea gained 60% of the total vote in the final round making it the undisputed winner of this year's poll.

The pea is an enigmatic vegetable being round and green and too small to be seen with the naked eye. But recent revelations about the pea's social life have appealled to pooclubbers who are impressed with the pea's ability imitate Albanian goatherds and write complex zen haikus.

It is talents such as these that have led us to believe that the pea is the ideal vegetable to lead us forward into the uncertain year of 2002. Seemingly small and insignificant, the pea must never be underestimated and as the good ship pooclub sails the turbulent waters that undoubtedly lie ahead in the months to come, we are confident that the pea will guide us on our way.
